Our recommended dress is “coastal evening elegance”.

Blazers and long pants are required for men. Women are encouraged to wear midi or maxi dresses, or similarly formal attire (blazers, jumpsuits).

We encourage guests to take inspiration from Santa Barbara, the ocean, and jewel-toned elegance. Think deep greens, blues, and other rich hues, along with textures like silk, velvet, or satin. Pearls and ocean-inspired details are very welcome.

Coastal evenings can be chilly, we suggest wearing something warm or bringing layers!

Budget Friendly‍ ‍– ⭐️⭐️ / ⭐️⭐️⭐️

• Motel 6 Santa Barbara – State Street is $150 or less per night and offers a simple, convenient stay along State Street. Note from Paden – I stayed here once in college, no frills but decent overall!

• Best Western Plus Pepper Tree Inn around $200 per night, located a bit farther from the wharf, but closer to our reception location. Good for a reliable and comfortable stay.

Mid-Range ‍– ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

• If you’re looking for something a bit closer to the waterfront with a comfortable, charming feel, Inn by the Harbor is a lovely option around $250-300 per night and is close to the wharf and coastal areas.

• For a more modern, upscale stay in a central downtown location, Riviera Beach House typically ranges from $400–$450 per night and offers a clean, stylish space within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Luxury ‍– ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

• For guests seeking a higher-end experience, Hotel Santa Barbara is an excellent option in the $500–$550 per night range, offering an upscale, comfortable stay that feels quintessentially Santa Barbara.

• For those looking to truly indulge, Rosewood Miramar Beach is the most luxurious option nearby, with a full resort experience right on the ocean.

We’re keeping our guest list very small, and as a result have not extended plus one invitations. We’re sorry we can’t accommodate a larger crowd! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Light snacks, charcuterie, and a cash bar will be available during the ceremony, followed by Mediterranean dinner, cake, and drinks at the reception.
